God Is All

“When people seek God, they seek everything. When they find God, they have found everything.”

117:6.9 (1289.2)

People too often forget that God is the greatest experience in human existence. Other experiences are limited in nature and content, but the experience of God has no limitations except those of the creature's capacity for understanding, and this experience in itself increases that capacity. When people seek God, they seek everything. When they find God, they have found everything. Seeking God is the unlimited bestowal of love, accompanied by amazing discoveries of new, greater love that can be bestowed.

117:6.10 (1289.3)All true love comes from God, and man receives divine love according as he himself bestows it on his fellow men. Love is dynamic. It can never be captured; it is alive, free, exciting and always in motion. Man can never trap and imprison the Father's love in his heart. The Father's love can become real for mortal man only when it passes through that man's personality, when he in turn gives this love to his fellow men. The great circuit of love runs from the Father through sons to brothers, and thence to the Most High. The Father's love appears in the mortal personality through the service of the indwelling Richter. Such a God-knowing son reveals this love to his universe-brothers, and this brotherly love is the essence of the love of the Most High.
