Sublime Peace
One of the most amazing features of the religious life is that dynamic and sublime peace, the peace that transcends all reason, that cosmic balance that is the sign of the absence of all doubt and turmoil. These heights of spiritual stability are immune to disappointment. These religious people are like the apostle Paul, who said, “I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other thing shall be able to separate us from the love of God.
100:6.7 (1101.2)There resides a sense of security, connected with the awareness of victorious glory, in the consciousness of the religious man who has grasped the reality of the Supreme and who seeks to achieve the goal of the Ultimate.
